Dr McLymont is a qualified Clinical Psychologist with over 14 years’ experience of working in the the NHS and in private practice. She has worked across various child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) teams and in acute paediatric hospital settings, to improve psychological and physical well-being. Danielle offers psychological assessment and therapy to children, young people and adults with a broad range of mental health and emotional difficulties. She is trained in a range of evidence based psychological models and therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), systemic and family therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Danielle also offers cognitive assessments to look at a child’s intellectual ability and to identify the strengths and weaknesses in their cognitive profile. She is registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
