Bianca Dent

Bianca is a Clinical Lead and specialist Speech and Language Therapist. She specialises in supporting toddlers and primary-aged children with communication, early language development, speech, and behaviour and contributes to autism assessments by completing developmental histories for children and adults.

Her work takes an integrative, connection-first approach, rooted in relationship, play, and compassion. Bianca aims to help children and families feel safe, seen, and understood, recognising that communication develops most effectively within secure and supportive relationships. She brings a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming perspective to her work with families.

Bianca is PROMPT trained and takes a holistic view of children’s development, considering communication alongside emotional regulation and wider neurodevelopment. 

Alongside her clinical work, Bianca provides supervision and support to students and other professionals and is committed to fostering reflective, collaborative clinical practice. She works closely with families and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure care is thoughtful, joined-up, and responsive to each person's needs.
