Sarah-Jane Jackson

Assistant Psychologist

Sarah is a dedicated & experienced Assistant Psychologist with a passion for supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, which includes trauma, personality disorder, attachment issues, anxiety, depression and neurodiversity. Sarah completed a BSc in Psychology & Counselling in 2018 with the Open University and an MSc in Forensic Mental Health with King’s College London in 2019. Sarah is now undertaking a further MSc in Person-Centred & Experiential Psychotherapy at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute.


Having worked in challenging and complex environments, Sarah has developed a deep understanding of the unique struggles faced by individuals who are managing mental health conditions. Through a person-centred and integrative approach, Sarah offers a compassionate, non-judgmental space, fostering a therapeutic relationship that encourages self-exploration and personal growth.


Sarah's work has included assessments, facilitating individual therapy sessions and contributing to rehabilitation programmes aimed at promoting mental well-being. This experience has enhanced her ability to navigate sensitive and sometimes volatile situations, always prioritising empathy, active listening, and creating a safe environment for clients to express themselves.


Committed to professional development, Sarah integrates an evidence-based approach with her person-centred values, offering a holistic and client-led approach to therapy. With a strong understanding of mental health issues she is focused on making a positive difference in the lives of her clients.
