Hanna Shariatzadeh

BSc (Hons), MA, MBACP

Psychotherapist

Hanna has 6 years of counselling experience and 9 years of mental health experience. Her experience covers a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, anger management, family conflict & career difficulties. Hanna trained to work with both young people and adults. she believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Her approach is tailored to her clients' unique and specific needs.


Prior to training as a Psychotherapist, Hanna worked in several areas of mental health including eating disorder units, social services and also as an SEN teaching assistant.


Since then, she has worked in several counselling services such as CAMHS, the NHS and a global EAP.  Hanna has experience working with adults and adolescents presenting with a range of difficulties, such as self-esteem, anxiety, BPD, trauma, depression and life transitions. She combines various techniques in her work, tailoring the technique to the specific goals that have been agreed; this can range from exploring past experiences and how they might be impacting us in the here-and-now to more of a CBT based approach, building tools and strategies to manage a difficulty.
