Dr Abi Lucas is a Charted Clinical Psychologist offering a safe, non- judgemental space where you can talk in confidence.
She works in a collaborative way with anyone that she sees and aims to support the person to understand their own difficulties and manage them in a way that feels most helpful. Abi uses an integrative approach which means drawing on a number of different psychological ways of thinking, ultimately to put the person who is struggling at the centre of the work.
Abi works with young people, their families and adults experiencing distress, self-esteem issues, body image concerns, and complex eating disorders. She also supports individuals and their families with neurodiversity (e.g. Autism, Asperger’s and ADHD). Additionally, Abi has a specialist interest in providing support for those struggling with complex trauma and personality difficulties.
She also works with young people and their families, adults and older people encountering neuropsychological problems including but not limited to brain injury, stroke, and dementia, offering further support and rehabilitation for these issues.
